URBAN HIP
Urban Hip embodies the spirit and the poetry that made "The Tragically Hip" a Canadian staple. Let these stellar musicians
transport you back in time and experience "The Hip" as you have never heard before.
The Band
Bob Chabluk
Dan Zadkovich
Dave Hubbard
Bob's singing is often praised for its emotional depth and distinctive style of the late Gord Downie. While there will never be another Gord Downie, Bob's deep respect and admiration for the talent and storytelling of Gord Downie comes through on stage and celebrates one of Canada's iconic Bands "The Tragically Hip"
Dan is the mastermind behind Urban Hip's Lead guitar sound of Rob Baker. From the melodic soft sounds to the unique sound of the early days of Tragically Hip, Dan has encompassed the grit and passion in every note he plays. Truly captures the iconic sound that is the Tragically Hip
Dave on the Rythm and Lead guitar picks up all the nuances and sounds of Paul Langlois on back ground vocals and guitar. Daves passion for music shines through on stage and his guitar blends and tones really bring the group into the zone and feels so much like the live sounds the Tragically Hip are acclaimed for.
Jim Hampton
Tony Biscardi
Jim lays down the grooves with his bass guitar, keeping the rhythm and the energy high. The unique sound and rhythm that Gord Sinclair brought to the Tragically Hips sound is covered by Jim's style, which brings a unique perspective to the band's sound.
Tony is the backbone of the band, bringing his thunderous drumming sound that matches perfectly the solid beat of Johnny Fay to every performance. With years of experience backing up numerous bands, Tony's groove is the perfect foundation for Urban Hip's sound.
